Gangaramaya Viharaya

Tucked away next to the Beira Lake, the Gangaramaya Vihara is probably Colombo’s most famous Buddhist temple. Bandaranaike Museum

Housed in the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7, this museum holds photographs, objects and documents of the late Prime Minister, S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike. Visitors are given the opportunity to listen to recordings of some of his famous speeches.
