The event is organized by The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) with Sri Lanka Tourism being a proud partner. It is one of only a handful of 6 star events held worldwide in 2010 and will attract approximately 128 of the world’s best surfers. These athletes are full time professional surfers aiming to qualify for the ASP World Tour. Surfers and water sport enthusiasts from around the world are the target audience for the event.
